Concordia Conservatory, a preeminent center for music education in Westchester and Fairfield Counties, is a welcoming community where children and adults find lifelong inspiration and joy through learning, performing, listening to, and participating with others in music.

Early Childhood & Suzuki

Early childhood music classes are designed to introduce toddlers & young children to the wonderful world of music through interactive, engaging, and age-appropriate activities to develop their musical skills, creativity, and confidence. Our Suzuki program has experienced faculty creating a fun and supportive environment to teach young learners cello, violin and guitar.

Youth Programs

Our youth programs include private lessons in all instruments & voice, as well as a vareity of specialty ensembles. Students at all levels are encouraged to particiapte in numerous performance oppotrunities throughout the year. First-time students are required to interview with the Executive Director prior to enrollment for teacher recommendation and scheduling. Call to schedule placement interview.

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Chamber Ensembles

Chamber Music is open to students of all ages who have had at least one year of private instrumental or vocal lessons. Participants are grouped by skill level, and repertoire spans all genres. The chamber program is available in the Fall and Spring semesters, with 8 coaching sessions per semester, culminatiing in a live performance.

Concordia Conservatory’s Songwriting, Composition, and Music Theory programs enhance your creativity and strengthen your foundational skills. Whether you’re looking to refine your songwriting, composition, arranging, lyric writing, or music theory abilities, our programs are customized to suit your interests.

Musical Theatre

The Conservatory provides a full spectrum of musical theatre classes for ages 5-13.  Skills are developed through age appropriate singing, acting, movement, dance and group collaboration. Offerings include Musical Adventures in Drama, Broadway Discoveries, Broadway Bound, and Ensemble Only!  Our annual tuition-free holiday community musical, in its 26th year, is open to all from age 8 through young adult.

Honors Program

Concordia Conservatory offers comprehensive music honors programs for studetns who demonstrate talent, promise, and ambition to pursue advanced music studies. Programs include Academy and Pre-Academy, Point of View Orchestra (POVO) and Awards of Distinction.

Music, Art & Movement Therapy

Concordia Conservatory offers clinically-based therapeutic, educational, and rehabilitative music, art & movement programs for the neurodiverse community, healthcare facilities, and senior living centers. These services cater to children and adults with emotional, physical, developmental, and social needs. Individual & group therapy is available at the Stamford and Bronxville campuses.

Adult Programs

Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or returning after a break, students of all levels can enroll in 32 private lessons or choose our FLEX package for busy adults. New students interview with the Executive Director for placement. Adults may perform in our January and June Soirées. Adults 62+ receive 20% off.

Concordia Conservatory’s summer programs are a great way for young musicians of all ages to explore their creativity, try fun new activities, and hone their music skills. Our summer music programs include early childhood, youth and adult.
