UNDERGRADUATE
Create an account and complete the Application for Admission through the Common App.
On the Common App, you will be required to submit:
- 2 letters of recommendation
- Personal Essay
Pay the $100 nonrefundable application fee when you submit your Common App application, payable to Concordia College New York. Applications will not be considered without this fee.
First-Year Students: Request certified diplomas/certificates and official transcripts from each high school (secondary school) attended. These transcript(s), diplomas/certificates, along with certified English translations, must be sent directly to our recommended evaluation agencies* listed below.
Transfer Students: Please submit official transcripts from every college or university you have attended. All college and university courses must be evaluated individually for transfer credit. If you have not earned an associate's or bachelor's degree, all First-Year Student requirements will also apply. All of the above documents must be sent directly to our recommended evaluation agencies* listed below. If your bachelor's or associate's degree was earned in the USA, please see our non-international application requirements.
Subject Descriptions: If you wish to have your subjects reviewed for transfer credit, Concordia's Registrar reserves the right to request descriptions of each subject studied at your former university. Descriptions should include the following information:
- Learning goals or objectives of the subject;
- number of hours per week in lecture/laboratory;
- textbooks required for each subject;
- length of the academic term in weeks.
* Concordia requires evaluations directly from one of the transcript evaluation agencies linked below, or any agency with NACES (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services) membership:

Proof of English Proficiency (POE) will be granted to applicants who have completed their degree in BOTH a country where English is the primary language, AND an institution where English is the primary medium of instruction.
For all other applicants, POE will be granted with one of the following
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT score of 76
- International English Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0
- ACT English score of 24 or higher
- SAT Critical Reading score of 500 or higher
- Intermediate- or high-level certificate from an accredited language school
- Grade of “C” or better in an English course taken at an American college or university

Who is eligible for the Form I-20 A-B?
To be eligible to receive the Form I-20, a student must:
- be admitted to Concordia College for enrollment in a full course of study;
- provide documents proving financial ability to support living and study expenses for one year of study.
How do I get my Form I-20?
- Download and read the Checklist at right for helpful information.
- Download the Application for Form I-20 A-B at right. Complete and attach the required documents that prove that you have the financial ability to support your studies and living expenses for your program.
