We proudly announce the news that Emma Sanchez, Coleman Breining and Jonah Dichter have won awards for their works from the NYSSMA Composition Competition.
Emma's The Commute for piano four hands, and Coleman's Misled Melancholy for piano were selected for performance at the NYSSMA Winter Conference in December 2018.
Jonah's Minisoulu for piano received Honorable Mention, and was considered a top contender for inclusion.
All three students study with Matt Van Brink, Head of Composition.
