Recognized for its virtuosity, exuberant performance style, and often-daring repertory choices, over the past two decades the Pacifica Quartet has achieved international recognition as one of the finest chamber ensembles performing today. The Quartet is the quartet-in-residence at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, received a Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music Performance, and was appointed to lead the Center for Advanced Quartet Studies at the Aspen Music Festival and School.
The quartet features Simin Ganara, Austin Hartman, Mark Holloway, and Brandon Vamos, and will be joined by special guest Lawrence Dutton. They will perform works of Beethoven, Shostakovich, and Dvořák.
